Second-year Geography student at LSE, focused on geopolitical risk, energy transition, and global markets. I manage a personal equity portfolio built around supply chain theses and think seriously about how institutions shape long-term prosperity.
About
I'm a second-year Geography student at the London School of Economics, born in Baku, raised between Kyiv and England. My work sits at the intersection of geopolitical risk, energy transition, and market structure — how the forces reshaping the world translate into real decisions by companies, governments, and investors.
I manage a personal equity portfolio built around geopolitical supply chain theses — semiconductor concentration risk, AI-driven demand, export controls, critical input dependencies. I've built quantitative models (including an EU ETS carbon exposure model with an integrated AI agent) to stress-test ideas before committing capital.
I'm less interested in ideology and more interested in what works — combining rigorous analysis with genuine curiosity about how countries create growth, how institutions succeed or fail, and how leaders make better decisions under uncertainty.
Writing
I built an interactive EU ETS carbon exposure model with an integrated AI agent to analyse two of Europe's hardest-to-abate industries. The results challenged my assumptions: the CBAM phase-out between 2028 and 2030 is steep enough to overwhelm even a 20.5% EBITDA margin.
Geographic concentration, AI-driven demand, export controls, and critical input dependencies — including helium — create compounding risks that standard equity models underweight. A framework for thinking about how these feed into valuations across the tech sector.
AI is not simply a productivity tool — it is a structural force rewriting how value is created and distributed. This essay explores which sectors, skills, and countries are best positioned to capture the gains and who is most exposed to disruption.
Focus on geopolitical risk, energy transition, and economic geography. Alongside coursework: building a personal equity portfolio around supply chain theses, developing quantitative models (EU ETS carbon exposure, semiconductor risk), and staying close to conversations in asset management and sustainable finance.
Elected to lead one of LSE's most active sports societies — 200+ members, £3,000 budget, flagship Fight Night event for 1,000+ attendees. Eliminated a £500 deficit by independently securing a sponsorship deal. Drove 8%+ membership growth by introducing QR-based ticketing, replacing manual processes. Leading four weekly sessions averaging 70+ members each.
